December UpdatePosted on December 1st, 2009 No comments
December deliveries to St Asaph will be at 5pm on the 10th & 17th.
The shop will close at 1.30pm on Christmas Eve and reopen at 10.30am on Monday 11 January.
I’d be grateful if any outstanding payments could be made before Christmas. Since the vat rate reverts to 17½% on 1 January I’ll end up paying Customs & Excise an extra 2½% on payments made after that date!
Traidcraft Mince Pies will be available up until Christmas Eve. Let me know if you want some with your December order, but firm orders only please – I don’t want them back in January! £2 for a pack of 4. They have a good pedigree: sugar from Malawi and Zambia, apple and dried fruits from South Africa, spices from Sri Lanka and India.
This month’s other new product is whole almonds grown in the Karakorum Mountains of Northern Pakistan. £1.90 for a 150g pack.
The new mueslis are now in stock: Exotic Fruit, Fruit & Nut and Mixed Berries. I still have some of the old packs of Vine Fruit & Apricot & Cranberry in stock too but they’re going fast.
Thanks for all your support throughout the year. I hope you and all the people you supply with Fair Trade goods have a happy and peaceful Christmas and a good New Year.
