There will only be one delivery to St Asaph this month – on Thursday 13th August at 5pm. September deliveries will be on 3rd & 24th, 5pm, in the Cathedral car park as usual.
If you visit the National Eisteddfod in Bala next week do pop in to the Fair Trade stall. It’s part of the Christian Aid tent (units 324 & 325). Just Shopping is also supplying the CYTUN tent with FT tea, coffee and sugar and the Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign tent with FT tahini, honey, peanut butter and cashew nut butter.
Also look out for us at the Anglesey Show as part of the Medrwn Môn tent, 11th & 12th August.
This month’s new product is Rayner’s Organic Golden Syrup (thanks, Barbara!) It retails at £2.20 for a 340g jar.
We’ve also had a massive delivery from Eswatini Swazi Kitchen including some exotic new varieties. Look out for Strawberry & Chilli Chutney, Melon & Ginger Jam and Ruby Grapefruit Marmalade. We haven’t had time to try them all yet but they look wonderful!
Sorry to mention this now but the Traidcraft Christmas catalogue becomes available on 5 August! Unfortunately we will see some price rises as the cost of raw materials has gone up and the exchange rate is unfavourable at the moment. However, I have quite a large back-up stock and will keep prices at their current level for as long as possible.
Enjoy the rest of the summer.

This month’s deliveries to St Asaph will be on Friday 10th & Thursday 23rd July – 5pm in the Cathedral car park. Please note that next week’s delivery will be on Friday rather than Thursday as I’m running the FT stall at the Llangollen Eisteddfod on Thursday.
If you visit the Eisteddfod do come and see us – we’re in unit 9 right next door to the Soroptomists where you can have a cuppa. We’ll be open every day from 10am to around 4pm.
Traidcraft’s own brand instant coffee is now back in stock at £1.80 for a 100g jar.
There’s also a new version of the Palestinian Olive Oil. Zaytoun sources this oil from Canaan Fair Trade who buy it from disadvantaged farmers. It includes a pack of Za’atar, a Palestinian herb mix, which is delicious with fresh-baked bread and olive oil – just dip the bread into the olive oil then into the herb mix for a delicious and healthy starter, snack or supper. £5.75 for a 500ml bottle.
This month’s special offer is £1 off Eswatini Mixed Fruit and Hot Mango Chutneys – £1.70 rather than £2.70 per jar.
John & I managed the Snowdon Challenge on 7 June but in appalling weather rather than the sunshine we’d hoped for – & the summit café was closed!
All the best,

This month’s deliveries to St Asaph will be on 11th & 25th June – 5pm in the Cathedral car park. Please let me know in good time if you want to exchange goods on either date (especially on 11th as it’s a busy week).
I’ll also be in St Asaph on Sunday, 21 June from around 12 noon running a FT stall in the Cathedral at the Diocesan Conference. I’ll have some room in the car for other goods if this is a more convenient date & time for anyone.
This month’s new goods are jars of Palestinian black & green olives at £4 & £3 respectively. If you think they’ll sell on your stall please let me know & I’ll include some with your next order.
This month’s special offer: Traidcraft Spaghetti – down from £1 to only 80p per 500g pack.
Hope you’re all enjoying this spell of fine weather. John & I are walking up Snowdon next Sunday in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care so are hoping it’s not too hot for us (& hoping the café on top is now open)!

This month’s deliveries to St Asaph will be on 14th & 28th May – 5pm in the Cathedral car park as usual.
Christian Aid Week runs from 10 – 16 May. See the website for bilingual church and school resources or contact Anna Jane at the North Wales office: 01248 353574 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Also, we may still just be recovering from Fairtrade Fortnight but World Fairtrade Day is on 9 May. For more info go to www.worldfairtradeday09.org
I was asked to stock this brand of cornflakes because they’re organic, low in fat, vegan and gluten free. Unfortunately, they don’t carry the Fair Trade Mark but are produced by the Whole Earth company and are proving to be a very popular line at £1.99 a box. Let me know if you’d like me to include a box in your next order.
Fair Trade rubber gloves have now come back into stock at £1.10 a pair. Look out for them in your boxes over the coming weeks.
Contact me if you fancy helping to run the Fairtrade stall at the next Llangollen Eisteddfod for a morning or an afternoon. It runs from 7 – 11 July. Any help gratefully received.
The shop will be closed on both Bank Holiday Mondays in May – 4th & 25th. Fingers crossed for some fine weather!

This month’s deliveries to St Asaph will be on 16th & 30th April – 5pm in the Cathedral car park as usual.
Traidcraft has sent me 10 free copies of the 2009 “World in your kitchen calendar“ – it was selling for £8.95 in the Christmas catalogue. It’s a bit late to start using it as a calendar but it has some lovely vegetarian recipes. Let me know if you’d like one – first come first served.
The shop will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday but open on Easter Eve, 11 April.
Traidcraft Instant Coffee (100g) will stay at the FT Fortnight price (£1.50p) till present stocks run out.
This month’s new product is Traidcraft’s blueberry dusted yoghurt raisins. Very moreish!
We also have Jumbo Kitchen Rolls in stock – each roll is equivalent to 4 ordinary ones and is made of 100% recycled paper. The introductory price is £1.90p.
Happy Easter & every good wish,
